Client: C. Titus, recording artist and co-founder of Realede Records
Role: Publicist, positioning and brand partnerships, digital home
Engagement: Ongoing
C. Titus is an Oakland-born recording artist, songwriter, and executive producer, and co-founder of the independent label Realede Records. He grew up in the studio with his father, musician Caurice Titus Sr., and his records mix West Coast hip-hop with soul and sharp storytelling. His catalog includes "Good Life" featuring Black Albert, released July 31, 2026, "Mutual" featuring Gabby Rose, "In the Mood" featuring Craig Pierre, and "Belaire Bottles in the Air."
Build an independent artist's public profile with the discipline of a brand: consistent press, a credible digital home, partnerships that fit the music, and stages that move the story forward.
Press and media relations. Ni Ema leads his press and writes his releases, including "C. Titus Raises the Bar with 'Belaire Bottles In The Air'" (February 19, 2026) and "C. Titus Takes 'Good Life' on the Road" (October 5, 2026), followed by the tour recap, "C. Titus Brings 'Good Life' Home" (October 15, 2026).
A digital home. She built and manages ctitus.net, with his artist bio, music, newsroom, and a direct media contact.
Brand partnerships. Her partnership work includes the Universal Belaire Sippers collaboration on "Belaire Bottles in the Air," its official remix featuring Young Breed of Maybach Music Group, and a closing performance of the record during NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.
The right stage. C. Titus performed at San Francisco's 2026 Juneteenth Parade, where he played "Good Life" before its release. Bay Area DJs have played the record since.
In October, C. Titus joined MoneyHill Casino's Spiritual Advisory Tour, presented by Sean Healy Presents, for two nights: The Virgil in Los Angeles on October 10 and an all-ages Sunday matinee at Brick & Mortar Music Hall in San Francisco on October 11.
Ni Ema wrote the press release and published it to his newsroom, framing three story angles for media: an Oakland independent who owns his label, the parade debut behind "Good Life," and a back-to-back Los Angeles and Bay Area weekend. She managed his media access at both shows. In San Francisco, she booked his interviews, organized his shoots, and captured original content for his brand.
He performed during BET Awards weekend, played Oakland First Fridays in April and Lique in Miami in July, and has had music placed on BET, Nickelodeon, and USA Network. He has built a following of more than 66,000 on Instagram.
An independent artist does not have a label's machine behind him. The work is to give him one: a clear story, a professional home for it, and partnerships and stages that make each release bigger than the last.
